76th Annual Destin Fishing Rodeo

With more than 35,000 anglers from all over the United States competing in more than 200 categories, things are bound to change on the leader board and they do almost daily. Anglers will have a chance to weigh in Mackerel to Mako's, Amberjack to Grouper, Tuna to Triggerfish and even Redfish to Speckled Trout to name a few. The King Mackerel division always sees big contenders hit the docks as well as the wahoo category. 

The good thing about this Rodeo, it's free to all anglers fishing on a registered boat. The Rodeo is also for anglers fishing aboard private boats, paddle boards, kayaks, off the jetties or pier, or even just standing in the surf. So… get your gear ready, pack up your boat, throw your paddles in the truck, grab your rod and reel and try your luck!

The Rodeo has become a Spectator Sport! On any given day in October anywhere from 250 to 1500 folks show up behind A.J.’s Seafood & Oyster Bar to see what is being brought to the scales!
