Kayak and paddleboard fishing is great for families with kids who are comfortable on the water. One of our favorite fishing spots is the Gulf Islands National Seashore. The water is clear and calm and you might even see some dolphins!

Try a petal drive kayak so you can propel across the water and keep your hands free for casting. If you are on a paddleboard, be sure to have an anchor so you can stay in one place to target fish.
