Home of the annual BARA Championship Rodeo, the Baker Recreation + Equestrian Center spans 50 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. For more than 20 years, the Baker Area Recreation Association, Inc. (BARA) and the town of Baker have championed the region’s equestrian culture — creating a space where horse shows, working cow events, dog shows, reunions, weddings and community gatherings all find a home. Whether you’re riding under the arena lights, catching up with friends in the indoor pavilion or watching a rodeo from the bleachers with concessions in hand, this is a place where people come together and traditions take center stage.

With spacious barns, RV hookups, walking tracks, playgrounds and on-site event support, the Baker Recreation + Equestrian Center is built to welcome large event crowds with ease.
