When did you fall in love with fishing?
I don't remember how old I was (7 or 8) but somehow this 21 pound cobia got on the end of my line. This is really all I ever enjoyed doing from that point on.
What’s special about your boat?
The Destination has the largest passenger capacity of the Reel Time fleet. So if you have a large group, that’s something we specialize in. We'd love for you to join us.
Is it true you’re the only captain in the Reel Time Fleet with a degree in marine biology?
I can't swear that that's a fact. But I don't know of anybody else that has a marine biology degree. I figured that was the only way I could get through four years of school was to study fish.
Tell us about your first mates.
We typically fish with two first mates. These fish are not easy to catch. But we've got guys down there that can show you the easiest way to do it.
Most used phrase on the boat?
Pretty work!
What experience do you have fishing with teens?
I have a large family with my wife–we have 14 kids between us. So having teens on the boat is something that we are no strangers to at all.
