Team Sea Fix is one-of-a-kind. Seasoned seaman, Captain Chris, takes the helm while the team’s owner, Aaron, prefers the action down on the deck. Aaron brings his 40+ years of experience and fun-loving personality to every fishing trip. Team Sea Fix always makes sure everyone on board has a good time–which is why 80% of their trips consist of return customers.

What is your boat named after? I was in the bathroom one day and Sea Fix popped into my head because, you know, if you're out here to get your fishing fix, it's a Sea Fix. So come on aboard the Sea Fix and get ‘er done.

It was just so cool to be able to come so far out and be in the middle of the Gulf. I caught maybe like 13 fish. I lost count!

Get to know your team

Aaron, Owner/First Mate

Why did you decide to be a first mate instead of captain?

Well, I have been a captain, but I really missed the deck and I have more fun being down there with the customers. Do what you love in life.

What’s your favorite part about being on deck?

I'm a hands-on guy. It's a busy job and I guess I enjoy it so much because I get to be the coach next to each person.

What’s special about your fishing trips?

As far as the quality of what you're gonna get, the camaraderie you're gonna have, the cleanliness of the boat, the tackle that we use, we deliver–every time.

Most used phrase on the boat?

Turn the handle!

Do you catch big fish?

We catch big fish, yes. But you never take a bite of that fish sandwich and say, "Man, that was a big fish." So it's not always about the big fish.

Tell us about Captain Chris.

I've known Chris for a long time and I know he's really good people. He’s been a captain for 25+ years and he loves getting into the action with us–he doesn’t just sit up in the bridge with the door closed.
