Private morning sailing lesson complete with VIP lunch at a local favorite.

What you’ll do

This hands-on adventure is a 2.5-hour private sailing lesson that will keep your teens on their toes as you head out through the Pass, see some dolphins and raise the sails. With a 9:30am sail time, the Harbor will be quieter which allows for better sailing conditions. When you return to shore, your family will head to The Harbor Tavern for lunch at your VIP table and an ask-anything conversation with your captain.

Perfect for tweens and teens (10+) who want to learn the basics of sailing and have a blast out on the Gulf.

Your family will become crew as everyone will have a chance to stand at the helm, learn some sailing lingo and work the sails.

Your adventure takes place on the Space Dancer, a 45′ Beneteau sailing yacht with a spacious interior, bathrooms and plenty of room for the whole family.

This is a private sailing lesson–only your family and Captain Christian and his first mate, Matt, will be aboard.

This adventure is for families who feel comfortable in and around the water.

You’ll love The Harbor Tavern’s covered patio overlooking the harbor as well as their extensive menu ranging from burgers to mediterranean.

Meet your guide, Captain Christian

Captain Christian, owner of East Pass Sailing, is a lifelong local and parent, so he’s passionate about getting families out on the water. He and his wife, Stephanie, are excited to share their love of sailing and exploring the Gulf.
