If you’re over in Destin, East Pass Coffee Co is an adorable coffee shop with some amazing breakfast options. For something tangy and filling, go for the breakfast sandwich. Although, the avocado toast cannot be beat. East Pass Coffee Co takes breakfast staples and adds a delicious twist that are sure to delight your tastebuds.

Fun without Sun

Not a great day for being a beach bum? There is plenty more to do! Head over to the Emerald Coast Science Center for an interactive and scientific experience. There is plenty to explore for kids and adults alike! Want to guarantee a sea-life encounter? The Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park has some unforgettable experiences. The park itself gets you up-close-and-personal with all of your favorite marine animals, but don’t forget to check out their encounters to get a hands-on experience. We love paying a visit to the patients at the Gulfarium CARE Center.

Need a little retail therapy? The Destin Commons is home to some amazing shops, as well as a movie theater if you want to stay up to date on the newest films. HarborWalk Village is a fun place to hit some shops, as well as grab a bite to eat. We also love the shops at The Boardwalk to find your perfect beach outfit!

Dinner with a View

Just because it’s a little rainy doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the beautiful Gulf of Mexico! The Boardwalk is home to some great restaurants, such as Rockin Tacos, Al’s Beach Club & Burger Bar, and Angler’s Beachside Grill. All have a great view of the water and pier where you can watch local fishermen try for the biggest catch of the day! The Crab Trap in Destin also has an amazing view (and even better snacks.) On the bay, LJ Schooners Dockside Restaurant & Oyster Bar is a local favorite with great seafood and southern favorites.

Grab a Drink

3rd Planet Brewing in Niceville is a must-do if you’re interested in trying a large selection of beers. With a large screened-in porch and great atmosphere, it’s an awesome place to spend some time. You can also check out Beach Camp Brewery and Destin Brewery, both located in Destin (and within walking distance of one another!)
