The Edge Seafood Restaurant & Skybar

The Edge offers Floridian-style, over-the-water dining where guests can watch local fishing boats unloading their daily catches, tour boats full of happy patrons sightseeing for dolphins behind the restaurant, and even captained tiki boats chasing golden sunsets along the working waterfront of the Destin Harbor. As one of the only boat-accessible restaurants in Destin, you can visit by land or by sea. You won’t find servers here. Instead, walk up to the window and order off the chalkboard menu. Grab a drink from the bar and sit back and enjoy the scenery while you dine al fresco. But don’t let the casual atmosphere fool you, the food here is taken seriously.

Named for the fishing spot where the continental shelf drops off along the famed 100-Fathom Curve, supporting our local fisheries is at the heart of everything we do. Featuring a modern take on authentic Floridian cuisine, our menu uses fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, including fish from our local commercial fishermen and produce from local farms located right here in Northwest Florida.

The atmosphere at The Edge is as special as our food. Our downstairs deck offers seating right in the heart of the action, with excellent opportunities for both sightseeing and people watching all day long. Unlike most “waterfront” restaurants, The Edge was built directly on top of the water, providing panoramic views of shimmering tides. Don’t be surprised to see dolphins playing next to your seat, boats pulling up by your table, or children feeding the fish off the docks.

When the sun begins its descent across the horizon, adults can head upstairs to the Skybar and enjoy a few of our signature cocktails and order food from one of our Small Plates, shareable dishes expertly crafted by our chef, while listening to live music and experiencing the best sunset views in town. The party continues after dark when we light up the fire pit on the upper deck and turn on the underwater lights below.
