Henderson Beach Campgrounds include 60 gravel-paved campsites for your RV or camper. The road in the designated camping area doubles as a peaceful bike path for campers who like to cycle. The camping amenities include heated and air-conditioned bathhouses, showers, and coin-operated laundry machines. Sites also have electrical hookups and water for your campers and RVs. Hiking at Henderson Beach State Park is a pet-friendly experience that brings you closer to the sand dunes and coastal vegetation which make up the National Seashore. One of the sand dunes encircles an abandoned military bunker and provides a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico.

For a hike with a challenge, Henderson Beach participates in geocaching as a part of the Operation Recreation GeoTour. Geocaching is the chance for you and your party to pick up a handheld Global Positioning System (GPS) and start hunting for hidden caches located by GPS signal.
