Discover one of the best places to introduce your family to the Gulf: Norriego Point! The knee deep tide pools are formed by rocks and roped off from the open waters of East Pass. The shallow shoreline is a great space for small kids to dip into the water and uncover all kinds of wildlife like fish and hermit crabs. The tide pools are also a great spot to watch the boats coming in and out of the harbor.
Local Scout Tip
The best way to get to Norriego Point is to head towards the Norriego Point Beach Access and Park, located at 343-277 Gulf Shore Drive. Parking is limited, so if you’re close to the beach access point and find a spot, grab it! O’steen Beach access is nearby and has street parking.
