Explore the Norriego Point tide pools

The best place to introduce your family to the Gulf of Mexico, the Norriego Point tide pools are formed by rocks and roped off from the open waters of East Pass.

This creates ideal conditions for getting into the water, exploring and discovering all kinds of wildlife like fish and hermit crabs. The tide pools are also a great spot to watch the boats coming in and out of the harbor.

Tip from our locals:

The tide pools parking lot can be a bit hard to find. You’ll find access on Holiday Isle (just turn onto Gulf Shore Drive and head for the dead-end). If you’ve driven past the Chevron Destin going east on 98, you’ve gone too far.
